NVIDIA Repair, Replaced MLB

I recently sent off my MBP to get repaired. They seemed unable to diagnose the problem at the local store. The machine would not boot, no start up chime, although it made the hard drive noise and the light on the front came on.

The product repair summary says they replaced the logic board and the "symptom" was "graphics processor issue on MLB"

I'm wondering why I was charged for this repair since it seems as it should have been covered as a known issue:

My computer was manufactured 3 years and 2 months ago. I have the same graphics card mentioned in the support site, and the same issue, as evidenced by the repair paperwork.

Why isn't this covered?

Thanks,

Tyler
