I recently received an iPad to use at work, and I'm able to connect to my workplace's WiFi network, but I am unable to connect to our home WiFi. The iPad detects our network and asks for the passcode. When I put in the passcode, it says that is unable to join our network. My laptop and my husband's laptop have no problem connecting to our home WiFi. Our router is a Belkin. Does anyone have any clue what I should do? Should I try contacting the router manufacturer?
It must be a common trouble. I use Verizon, and often I need to turn off the modem, turn it on again, and then join my wifi. Often I need to repeat tapping on my wifi password + join process until it connects. Eventually it does.
hi all im also having issues with my ipad not now working on wifi at home but is was before.

I have the same problem at home with my Uverse modem. I frequently (often several times in one session) have to go and hit "Renew Lease" in the network setting to restore it. Restarting the modem fixes the problem temporarily, but it returns pretty quick. FWIW Uverse uses WPA not WEP.
Hi, same problem here (France, Grenoble) My MacBook Pro get the wifi but not the ipad. After the choice of the network i enter the wpa then it says "unable to join the network". Everything works fine until a week ago. My adsl provider has no clue! Restart the router does not work.
I have exactly the same problem. I have identical settings on my iPhone and iPad, and I never have had to renew the lease on the iPhone, but pretty much every time I want to connect the iPad I have to renew the lease before connecting. Never any problems with my iMac or MacBook pro or the work laptop (Lenovo running Windows). Only the iPad has this problem. I use a really good router from Billion, so this is not a cheapie. Can this be anything but an iPad problem?
im having the same problem as everyone eles my ipad worked fine about two weeks ago i was able to get online n go into the app stores. now i have no wifi the ipad wont accept my password. i bought a $50 netgear router n im still having the same the problem i think it is safe to say its not the routers its the ipad its a joke i will never buy another apple product again
