I've recently purchased an iPod Touch 4th generation. It worked fine at home on the wifi. Used it with Skype on a video call for 30 minutes. Our router is a DLink.
Now we are at work with a Cisco 1200 and can connect to the wifi with our comuter, but not the iPod. It indicates the WEP key is wrong. It's not.
Now we have found that Bluetooth does not work. It is unable to find other Bluetooth items. My computer has found the iPod.
Looking on the inet we have found no attempt at a fix or suggestion from Apple.

Get the WEP Equivalent Password for the Cisco 1200 router at work from the network administrator, then try to connect using that hexadecimal string. For 40-bit WEP it will be 10 hex characters. For 128-bit WEP it will be 26 hex characters. Preface the string with a '$' like this: $20E43DB1BC

Ive had the same problem. ended up calling Apple, they will send you a new refurbished one at $109. CAD or take yours to a local place that fixes them and hopefully its cheaper than the 109. as for my local its 106. to fix mine, so i will send to Apple. Also lady at Apple said its definatly a hardward problem if you have gone thru all the steps on Apple support to try to fix.
Good Luck

Same thing has happened to me.
I got home from school and it wouldnt connect to the wifi so I turned my iTouch off for a few minutes and turned it back on.
It erased all my songs and my Wi-fi option turned grey and said "No Wifi."
I restored it and updated it to the most recent iTunes update as well.
I got all of my songs back butthe Wi-fi option is still grey.
And I REFUSE to pay for a new iTouch or pay to have it repaired. Last month I got this iPod from the apple store in exchange for my old ipod (the sleep/wake button got jammed).
