Q: Final Cut Server Download + Running public website

I would "watch-out" for good deal on a second Mac.
A good choice would be a used or refurbished MacPro.

You really don't want to run FCS on a Mac Mini...
and definitely not both.

You can tell Apache to serve multiple sites.

Completely agreed that MacMini unsuitable for running FCS. You need a MacPro.

I'd never use FCSvr Mac and a web site hosting Mac to be the same machine. Mac Mini is fine for FCSvr, if you have less than 3 users connected...

I agree with the Mac Mini being underpowered.. But sometimes you have to do what you have to do... With regards to both FCS and your website running on the same machine.. NO problem. The web server root is /Library/WebServer/Documents/ that is where the index.html goes and that is what will be served to web browsers when they connect too you server @ http://www.foo.com and the will still be able to get to you FCS @ http://www.foo.com/finalcutserver

Mac Mini is underpowered because of RAM limit, ONLY. Let's stick to facts.

If we're talking about one of the new aluminum minis, they can take up to 8GB of RAM, and that is enough for a small FCSvr deployment. But we're off topic here and I think Andre already answered the OP's question...

I'd at least get the server version, with two 7200 rpm hard drives instead of the one 5400 rpm drive in the entry level version.

Then you could put the database on the system drive, proxies on the second internal, and primary reps on a large external.
