Kindle wont connect via iMac Internet Sharing

I set up internet sharing with my new iMac, my iphones and itouches all can hook up, but my kindle 3 tells me that it is an incorrect password or that it cant connect to this network. Any ideas?

Mac OS X (10.6.6)

Thank you so much. Came across this after searching for solutions for over 3 hours. Finally have my Kindle working. Greatly appreciated

I am using OS X yosemite(10.10.5) , in this WPA only is supported. And in /etc/bootpd.list all the address are in 192.168.2.x form.The method you proposed is not working for me,can you make some modifications taking into consideration the above differences.
