When Safari will support the WOFF?

I know, Safari support the CSS webfont decleration @font-face.
Formats like OTF/TTF can Safari read. But this setting not converged unfortunately with the strategy of the big fonthouses like Fontshop.com or Fonts.com. There you don't get hinted .otf/.ttf-Webfont. You get only the webfont formats .eot and .woff
Okay, we can use Webfontservices. But not everyone will use this sevices. You've pulled the short straw if you will apply specific fonts for your or Client Website when the Font isn't hosted by a fontservice.

Also, when Safari will support the WOFF?
