I just bought a 27 inch iMac, it doesnt the the computer can work on either 110 or 220 V. Does anyone know whether US iMacs can work on 220 V? I only saw 110V on the electrical outlet
You'd definitely have to look closely to make sure, but I don't think anybody has made a power supply that doesn't auto switch between the two voltages in quite a long time. Usually, there is a tag on the bottom or back that indicates what power to use. Usually, Input: 100-240VAC 50/60Hz.
According to [iMac (21.5 and 27-inch, Mid 2010) - Technical Specifications|http://support.apple.com/kb/SP588]:
*Electrical and operating requirements*
Line voltage: _100-240V AC_
Frequency: 50Hz to 60Hz, single phase
Maximum continuous power: 241W (21.5-inch models); 365W (27-inch models)
