There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later. (undefined)

Attempting to purchase and download from App Store off and on over the last several hours. Have checked account details, rebooted twice, closed store and reopened several times. Running 10.6.6 and have even verified details in iTunes to ensure that is not the issue. Also verified Time Zone settings per Apple Support suggestions.

I continue to see the same error each time: There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later. (undefined)

Anyone else have/solved this problem?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.6)

I have this repeating error:

Right now I have 13 updates that have not been applied. When I attempt to update I always get

"no updates for this apple id"

I have updated the apple if and password but that made no difference.

Have this exact same problem in the UK. And my purchase history has gone, might want to check yours too.

I seem to be having this problem as well in Canada and most of my purchase history is gone as well. I haven't come up with a solution yet, have tried quitting application several times and rebooting computer several times and its still not working. Can't contact apple or at least don't know how, most frustrating as I want to install an app but can't. ARGH!

ok, so I don't know what I did, but I started downloading this "combo update for 10.6.6" and as its downloading, I went in and tried again and it allowed me to purchase and download the app and now my purchase history is back. Sorry if it doesn't help anyone, but heres the link for the combo update.

Well, so far I have tried everything suggested, including the update, checking billing details, restarting, logging in and out, and I'm still stuck.

Further to my last, apparently I can download some new apps, like the free firelight one that's at the top of the popular list, but not others!

I'm having same problem. I downloaded free and paid for apps yesterday. Today only free apps download. Otherwise, I get the same error message.

I've got the same problem. Tried so far to purchase apps and to update one of my already installed app. Both didn't work and the error message is the same: "Your request is temporarily unable to be processed. Please try again later."

Your issues may be in the iTunes Store account. Quit the MAS and Open iTunes. Sign into your iTunes account and there may be a new Terms for your to agree to. Also, at the bottom of your account info page reset the notifications.

Just did that and guess what??? I get the same message if I try to reset the notifications or if I try to update any banking info...
It's not my day, I guess...

It seems the link to certain "featured" apps are broken.

I was looking for Ommwriter, I clicked from the full app description page and got an "There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later. (undefined)"

I went to Productivity in categories. looked for my app there and it works.

To be short don't buy from the full page. buy it from the small boxes in categories

I am trying to purchase a game and getting the same message. Have rebooted, tried all the steps posted but no luck. App store really works well!! Kudos Apple!

I tried this for a few of the featured apps to test your theory and you seem to be, at least for me, 100% correct! I was having this issue and tried going through the long way and finding the featured app I wanted and it worked fine.

I tried this approach going through categories to no success (German Store says: "Ihre Anfrage konnte nicht abgeschlossen werden. Im App Store ist ein Fehler aufgetreten. Bitte versuchen Sie es zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt erneut. (undefined)").

Amazingly I tried purchasing OmmWriter, as well. Maybe it's out of stock? 😉
Amazingly also, this problem only has surfaced within the last two days...
