Cannot Sign In to Mac App Store - NOT SOLVED

Apple, this isn't fixed. I've read other posts about this and the suggested solution. Suddenly and without warning I too can't sign in to the App Store from my MacBookPro and I don't have any of the mentioned third party software installed. I click the sign in option and nothing happens. I can sign in on my iMac which is on the same home network.

I've read about the log in window appearing behind other windows but this doesn't seem to be the case for me.

Apple need to fix this!

Mac Book Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.6)

Hello,

I solved this problem on my new MacBook Air today.

I was unable to buy any apps from the Mac App Store and was stuck in the loop of being asked for my apple ID password and then nothing happening.

Here's how I solved it:
1) I opened iTunes.
2) I entered my ID and password.
3) The payment information came up, stating that an indicated field was missing. There was no indicated field, in fact, but the CVV field was empty on my credit card information.
4) I entered the CVV info and went through the steps again of buying the app and it let me do it.

Try resolving the problem from iTunes, you have more access to your account details in iTunes. Sometimes it seems that when there is a problem with incorrect or incomplete information regarding your method of payment the warnings the MAS generates get confusing.


Open iTunes, enter the iTunes Store, then log in and review your account information. Make sure that the billing address is correct and that if needed, the three digit security code from your bank card is correct. On your way out reset the notifications.

I am having the Same Problem in Mac Book Pro with 10.6.7, App Store Opens but i cant either sign in or browse any apps. i just see the following for hours:


"One Moment Please.

Connecting to the iTunes Store.

Loading



If iTunes doesn't open, click the iTunes application icon in your Dock or Windows Task Bar. To download iTunes, please click here."


Any Solution for this problem???
