Dictionary widget in Dashboard

I love the dictionary app in dashboard. Very quick and easy to use.

I run my OSX in Japanese as I do a lot of work in Japanese. But I also do a lot of work in English. This causes a problem when the dictionary app because it appears to only be able to use one or the other. However even if I set my system language to English and reboot, if I add a new dictionary widget to the dashboard, it's still the Japanese dictionary.

How can I get both Japanese and English dictionaries in my dashboard widget?

To clarify, I do not need a multi language "translation" tool. I need a Japanese dictionary/thesaurus with Japanese definitions, and an English dictionary/thesaurus with English definitions.

Thanks!

Try going to Applications/Dictionary.app/Preferences and making sure you have checked the boxes for the dictionaries you want.
