watching instant Netflix on Macbook Pro

is anyone aware of any problems watching streaming videos from Netflix on a Mac?
I used to be able to watch, but for some reason I'm having problems now. The video skips and stops and skips and stops. One time it even crashed my Mac. I downloaded the latest version of Silverlight but the problem persists. Any input is appreciated.

Hi! Yes I’ve noticed that too. I usually open up Netflix on my macbook and then connect it to my t.v., but yes I’ve noticed that the movie will skip occasionally or even freeze. Really weird, not sure what the problem might be. One time my whole screen went blue(on the macbook)...

I believe that NetFlix is the source of the issues you are having. I normally watch NetFlix via my Roku box, but it has been having issues with some shows. The audio/video get out of sync, or the stream pauses and restarts at a lower quality, and in some cases, it won't even play at all. Generally when the Roku is too bad, I can still fire up NetFlix on my MacBook Pro and watch the very same episode. The Mac generally has fewer issues watching the same stream as the Roku, but it is still not perfect.

I'm having the same issue. Never had a problem and then BAM, skipping movies all the time. My net connection is super fast. Xbox360 streaming is no problem, but my macbook can't do it.
