How Change the color of folders on desktop and in files to a new color?

My computer was just upgraded from Tiger to Leopard. I have a pale green desktop. Leopard shows all folders in pale blue which looks bad against my green desktop. Please tell me how to change the color of these folders to another color. Also how to make them larger. Thanks a lot

Hi,

From your Finder menu bar click View / Show View Options. You can change the size of folders there.

You can change the color of the title of a folder by right or control clicking the folder then choose a color.

You may need a third party app to change the actual icon (folder) color but instead of doing that change your Desktop instead.

Open System Preferences / Desktop & Screen Saver - Desktop. Make a selection from the list on the left.
