A2DP Bluetooth profile for Sennheiser headphones no rewind or fast forward

Hey guys,

I have a kinda specific question, I purchased a Sennheiser PXC 310 BT headphone ( http://www.sennheiser.ca/live/senn/produit/en/1163/57 )

and it has:
Bluetooth version: 2.1 + EDR
Supported Profiles: A2DP, AVRCP
Codec: SBC, apt-X

In order to use the apt-x codec for lossless transmission, I bought a BT-D5 dongle ( http://us.store.creative.com/Creative-Bluetooth-Audio-BTD5-iPhoneiPodiPad-transm itter/M/B003FV5KB0.htm )

Now, I read somewhere that when Apple updated their firmware to include A2DP Bluetooth, they forgot to include the profile required to let me skip and rewind tracks using the Sennheiser (and other) Bluetooth headphones. As such, while I can control volume and play and pause the music, I can’t rewind or fast forward.

My items are on their way, but if this is true it will be quite frustrating to have bought the items for their bluetooth purpose. My question is, has this been fixed yet? If not, will it be or is there anyway for me to fix this on my own?
