Q: Looking for a little compositing direction -- Ghosts Effects

I have lots of footage of ghosts in my movie and its time to place an effects on these ghosts.

Need to be pointed in a practical direction. What composite effects and steps would you do for a Ghost?

I know the basics of Shake (can track and stabilize, use quick paint and FileOut back to FCP).

Been checking out Motion, but not a big Motion user (yet) don't know if I need to be?
