iPhoto 11 is causing Kernel Panic in my iMac. As far I understand it is not a hardware issue, because the iMac is very very stable with any other softwares.
Yes, in some cases a crash report was send to apple. And I'm sure that is iPhoto 11 because the kernel panic always (and only) occurs when it is in use.

Yes, I thing it is a problem related with some new iPhoto optimization which uses open cl (or other graphic hardware acceleration) and is not supported by this version of graphic card / graphic card driver.

_I had these +black screen freezes+ ( over 100) panics with iPhoto 9,_ and so have others
it is not specific to iphoto 11.
Although we ( genius and I ) discussed the likelihood of the graphic card/ logic board being the problem the crash logs does show that as far as I can read it, very little.
In the end Apple replaced my HD only and installed iphoto 11 yesterday - today I have the same issue, iphoto 11 kernel panics just as iphoto 9 did.
