Feb 25, 2011 9:26 PM in response to BillyBaldwinby jimvarian,In the File menu, select Export, then select Export in the submenu.
Save the calendar that the event is in.
Open the file in a spreadsheet program like Excel — using tab delimited is fine.
Data will all be in one very long column, so you probably want to use the search function to locate the event by name (should have "SUMMARY" in front of it).
About eight lines below that (give or take) will be the event's creation date — the first eight digits after "CREATED" are the creation date. -

Apr 26, 2015 3:03 AM in response to BillyBaldwinby nbevan,The simplest way is to use Finder to view the Calendars folder in the Library, then search for the name of the calendar entry, using the search option "System Files are included". From the results you can select the appropriate calendar entry (double click to be sure), and CMD-I will give the exact creation time.
