CANNOT SEND MAIL "Relaying" error message for iPad

I have three email accounts on my iPad. Occassionally, when I am replying to an email or forwarding an email. I get the following error message:

"Cannot Send Mail. A copy has been placed in your Outbox. The recipient XXXX was rejected by the server because it does not allow relaying."

The email address is correct.

Needless to say, this is very, very, extremely frustrating...

Can anyone help?
