Why is my Iphone stuck on repeat songs?

Sure 🙂

1. I have an iphone 5 S, fyi

2.) I locate the music app that comes with the phone.

3.) Open a song.

4.) Tap on the song that is shown as a strip down the bottom, the song will fill the screen. It shows an image, a progress bar, play/pause button etc... put your finger on the screen and slide up, the screen will move/scroll up and a large button in red writing with "Shuffle" and another button saying "Repeat" will come into view, below them the "Up Next" tracks....

Note: I have version 10.2 (14C92) fyi, make sure you have the lastest version of the operating system, so we are talking about the same thing.

There are several different posts with instructions in this 6 year old thread. Which are the ones that don't work? The post by PENSACOLA BRUCE 3 posts above yours should work.

bring up the full screen of the song playing

SCROLL DOWN under the triangle with sound waves

You will find Shuffle (with crossed arrows) and Repeat (with two arrows)

click on that until the highlight (red) goes out

Okay, this is how I did it on my iPhone 5. When a song is playing, click the little rectangle at the bottom of the screen. Scroll down to find the "repeat button". Tap it until it turns white, which means it's off.

Ok, this has been going to long and it has driven me crazy.

From the playlist window select the square to the left of the pause play next song buttons - at the bottom of the window. It will display album art if you have it.

This will open the play window which is where your problems began; the circle made up of two arrows which when pressed repeats all songs and is no longer there once it has been pushed - hence the problem we've been having.

Take one finger and push the play window up. The replay button will appear - tap it.

It's deceiving because it appears as though the play screen is just another screen but when you push it up you will see the playlist below it and in between - the replay button.

One other thing, you can not pull the playlist screen down to see the replay button, you must go the play window.
