When opening Safari the window opens small every time

Every time I open Safari it is a small window, is there any way I can lock the Safari window to fit my whole screen when I open Safari?

The window will open in the size in which it was lasted closed.
If you pull the right bottom corner of your window (with the three little diagonal lines)
until you get it the size you want, it will open in that size in the future.

Hi and welcome...

You can have Safari windows fill the screen but it requires a third party app called Glims

Once it's installed you can access the software from Safari / Preferences then select the Glims tab.

To use full screen mode just click Safari in the menu at the top of your screen then click: Max Window size.

Glims is free and compatible with Safari 5 and Snow Leopard v10.6
