Question about replacement/repair.

I recently sent in my iPod mini for repair. From what I understand, Apple has stopped making iPod minis. If my iPod mini has to be replaced, what will they replace it with?

If they don't make minis anymore...how are they going to replace my mini with another mini...that was my question...

They don't make them anymore, but they still have a supply of new and/or refurbished minis for warranty replacements.

Ok, but if i wanted a replacement, could I use the new mini as store credit and buy a better one with other money??
