How big is the file?

You aren't going to be able to email, and certainly not text, a file of that size. Your best bet is to open a free account with one of the photo sharing sites that also handles video and place it there. Or, if you have MobileMe, you can use it to do this.

Email service providers do not allow their users to send files over a 20-25MB limit.

Import the video with your computer and upload it to a website such as YouTube or Flickr. If you don't have a YouTube or Flickr account, you will need to establish one. You can make a video you upload to YouTube private, or only those you send the link to have access to it. You can upload a video from your iPhone to YouTube and if connected to an available wi-fi network when doing so, it will be uploaded from your iPhone as full resolution.

The video uploaded to YouTube which you can make private - private being only the people you designate can view the video - would not be downloaded by someone with a Blackberry or Android. The video would be streamed by their Blackberry or Android no different from when watching a YouTube video with your iPhone.

You will not be able to email a video that large or anywhere near that large.

Put it on a computer, burn it to a DVD and snail mail it to them.

I've uploaded videos direct from my iPhone and videos imported from my iPhone with my computer from my computer to YouTube with no problem.

Do a search at app store. There should be some free apps or paid apps to do the job you are looking for.

I've used it to upload a 13-minute video shot with my iphone camera app (idr the file size, but it would have been about same size as yours). Qik allows you to import an existing video to the app, and it will automatically compress it. I noticed no serious reduction in quality after this. Your original video remains untouched in your Photos album. Once imported, the compressed copy can be uploaded to various places, including Qik's own servers (a free signup is required, http://qik.com/info/overview). When the upload is done (it's reasonably quick... qik... haha), Qik provides you with a private link, and the option to email your friends with said link, to the video.
