Q: FC Server vs. CatDV?

I'm testing CatDV right now as a DAM.... right now, I need to make sense of a bunch of AVCHD clips... But I could use a master collection or database of: proxies, metadata, poster frames etc.... for my myriad of disk based media... also, I have some interest in working with LTO tape as a backup or archive.

If you know both products can you comment on the pros and cons of each...?

BTW: I'm a one-man shop.
