connect macbook pro to printer wirelessly

Hi there, im trying to connect my macbook pro to my HP deskjet 3050 wireless printer, now my problem is i do not have a basestation, i only use my built in airport, my apple tv has no problem connecting but trying to print wirelessly is not working. cant get the Hp setup to complete the setup. help!
