Reset vs. Restore to sell iPad

Two questions:

I'm planning to sell my 32GB WiFi iPad and want to restore it to its original state (removing apps, my stuff, etc.). What's the best way to do this: restore via iTunes or use one of the reset commands on iPad itself in Settings/General?

Secondly, I assume that if I delete all my purchased apps from this iPad I can later put them on a new iPad (perhaps the future iPad2?) without repurchasing them. Correct?

Best is to Restore from the iTunes selection, which returns your iPad to a virginal state. Do not do the "Restore from Backup" one.

Yes, your purchases apps remain yours and available for use on other platforms, up to the limit of, I believe, five.

I would restore to factory defaults/new iPad via iTunes. That should be faster based my iPod Touch experience. Also, some users have reported that the full reset via Setting left their iTunes account email address still on the iPad.

Yes.
Make sure you sync and backup your iPad first. This will copy all purcahses and data fform teh iPad to iTunes.
When you get a new iPad, select *Restore from backup* to copy everything to the new iPad.

This will erase all settings and content on the iPad:

As pointed out above, make sure you preform a backup before erasing all settings and content.
