Remove unwanted Apps from App Store

I have not done it, so be careful…..

I think that if you trash a preference file (com.apple.appstore.plist) you might get what you want. If you try it, I suggest you not empty the trash until you are sure the Appstore application is still working properly.

no longer want notifications for.

Launch iTunes. From the iTunes menu bar click iTunes / Preferences then select the Advanced tab.

Click: *Reset Warnings* and *Reset cache* click Ok.

You can also do this (before deleting).Go to finder preferences\Advanced\Empty Trash securely . This will remove EVERYTHING of the app off the computer.

Currently there is no way to remove an app that you bought/acquired from the Purchases, even though you have uninstalled it from your Mac and so unfortunately it will show as available to Install until some date in the future when Apple changes this behavior. Many folks are unhappy with this behavior in the Mac App Store.

But thats actually good if you want the app again. for eg. you uninstalled an app. Now its become tremendously better but its money charge increased. So then you can then install it again for free.
