My safari browser has been hijacked by netzero. Help!

When I go to yahoo or google for a search, a net zero screen pops up and it is like my browser has been hijacked by netzero. I do no use netzero as my provider and can't seem to find a solution. What can I do to stop this.

Macbook, Mac OS X (10.5.6)

Hi,

From your Safari menu bar click Safari / Block Pop-Up Windows.

Quit Safari (Command + Q) then relaunch Safari.

If that doesn't help, install GlimmerBlocker. It's free and v10.5 compatible.

Once it's installed, open System Preferences - GlimmerBlocker. Select the Setup tab.

Make sure: Activate GlimmerBlocker is checked.
