Cisco VPN on Snow Leopard - no ping

Hi,

We're trying to use the built in Cisco VPN client in SL to vpn through a Cisco ASA firewall. We can connect and authenticate without issue and can ping resources within the internal network, however resources in the internal network can't ping the vpn'd Macbook.

We have tried running the old 4.9.01.0180 Cisco client and when this is used internal machines can then ping the Macbook.

The firewall is not turned on on the adapter.

Any suggestions?

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.6.6)

I'm having a similar issue. The strange thing is that I can ping an iPhone 4 connected over the VPN but I cannot ping any MacBooks connected the same way. There is no problem getting the MacBooks to connect to the VPN, we can see them hitting the firewall in the logs.

Mac (10.10.10.x) connected over VPN can ping Mac (172.25.24.250) connected directly to Cisco ASA 5505

172.25.24.250 cannot ping 10.10.10.x

iPhone (10.10.10.x) connected over VPN can ping Mac (172.25.24.250) connected directly to Cisco ASA 5505

172.25.24.250 CAN ping 10.10.10.x

These are both connected to the VPN with identical details.

Anyone have any ideas on how to remedy this?
