Anyone have Rome: Total War?

I want to purchase it, but the reviews in the app store are misleading... while it has about 4 stars, the recent reviews are quite negative...

Anybody have any opinions on this game?

Hello

Rome: Total War is a fantastic game, and it runs quite good on the mac. It's still one of the best strategy games ever made, and the graphic is really nice. It got a deep structure, but not so deep as Civilization. I would say, if you don't like to spend 50£ (or what it now cost) for Civilization, R:TW is a good alternative. But if you want a better and more deep strategy game you should buy Civilization V.
But remember, RTW is a really great game, and it's a pretty hard game.

Sincerely Christoffer

I just purchased Rome: Total War from the App Store on the Mac. I have done a lot of researching, and it is a great game, but all of my research has concluded that Medieval 2: Total War is the best Total War game. I am now a fan of the series, so I would suggest getting the Rome app if you have not already. Also, if you find a way to get Medieval 2: Total War onto the Mac, please tell me! 😉 Maybe one day the App Store will carry it! Make suggestions to Mac for it to be added. Go Medieval 2: Total War! Oh how I wish to play you!
