converting 30 fps to 25 fps

converting 30 fps to 25 fps

hi,
I shot some multicam footage on 2 7d cameras one was unfortunatly 30 (23.97) fps and the other 25fps any advice as to what would be best way to convert the 30 fps to 25 fps ?
I need to multiclip it in pro res 1920 x 1080 progressive sequence.

Compressor -you already have it.
Natress Standards Conversion -$100 [Here|http://www.nattress.com/Products/standardsconversion/standardsconversion. htm].
Or find a local post production house that has a Teranex standards converter -expensive, but real time.

23.97 or 30? Because if it's 23.97(6), then use Cinema Tools to reconform it to 25...

is nattress worth the money will it do a better job?

It is 23.97 did try cinema tools but it just slowed it down unnaturally , or did I do the wrong settings?

going to to try compressor now.

It can't be real 23.976. It has to be 29.97 with advanced pulldown, so recorded at the higher frame rate. You couldn't tell a one frame speed up, not slow down, by listening to it.

I think Graeme's tool is worth it, both for quality and equally importantly for speed if you're doing a lot of material. Compressor can be painfully slow.

oops my mistake sorry it is 29 not 23 , was a late night.

thanks for advice , probably about 45 mins worth of material all in to convert. so worth looking at nattress then cheers.
