How to Delete Home Screen Icon

I just saved an icon on my home screen from Safari and now I want to delete it. How is this done? I've placed my finger on the icon until all icons jiggle but don't see anywhere to can them. Any help is appreciated. THanks

You have your restrictions set to not allow apps to be deleted:

Go to: Settings->General->Restrictions->

Under "Allow:" you will see "Deleting Apps" turn it to "ON"

Thanks for this info but....no small "x" appears on any icon. When I hold my finger on an icon all they do is jiggle. The only thing I can do is move them....not delete them. I only want to delete one. Do you think it's because I've done a "key-lock? Thanks for everyones help. LOVE THE PHONE

If it's an icon created as a bookmark from Safari it should have an X in the upper right corner when you hold your finger on any icon long enough for them to jiggle. I just created one and it behaves this way. The only other way that I know to remove Apps is from the Apps tab in iTunes, but I'm not sure it will remove bookmarks. Do any of the icons have the black X when they're jiggling?
