Q: aiff or wav......

does waveburner 1.6.1 burn discs in wav or aiff?

if there is a choice, how do i choose wav?

i have found nothing in preferences.

also, how do i get the tracks to show artist and title on a cd car player?

i believe it's cd-text but i tried a few times and it did not work.

can someone send a tutorial link or simply go over it for me step by step?

i would really appreciate the help.

thanks

Waveburner burns neither wav or aiff, in fact it doesn't burn any files at all. It creates an audio CD following the red book standard containing tracks. However it reads both aiff and wav to create those tracks, and the file format doesn't make any difference for the result assuming you're using the same sampling parameters in both cases (i.e. bit depth and sampling rate).

Also, strict red book does not support CD text.

    Cheers,
