Apple will not let adobe make a flash player if you go to adobe's web site thay say thay will make one as soon as apple let's them

Apple can't prevent Adobe from producing a flush player that is compatible with iOS devices, but Apple has the choice to approve or not approve it. If Adobe has done so, Apple has chosen not to approve that insecure processor hog garbage.

well they are! flash player apparently goes against apples "rules" and apple dont like anyone having to much control of their devices, even the users

No they are not.

Once again, Apple CANNOT prevent Adobe from developing a flash player or plugin that is compatible with Safari on iOS devices. What Apple can do is not approve it which would need to be incorporated in the iOS or provided as a separate download via the iTunes app store for anyone interested in installing that insecure garbage on an iOS device.

Apple has stated numerous times requesting Adobe to produce a flash player or plugin for Safari on iOS devices that is not garbage - as in not being a significant processor hog, not being a significant battery drain, and that doesn't crash Safari as it does all 3 on a Mac. Adobe hasn't been able to meet these requests yet.

At the end of the day, if you don't like it, purchase and use a device that includes it. What an earth shattering concept. Sales figures don't lie. Not including that garbage has not hurt sales one bit.

Flash regularly causes problems on Windows systems. I see problems regularly on the Windows systems here that we have proven to be with Flash.

And my i-device is not "rubbish" because it doesn't have Flash. If you need Flash, though, sell your iPhone and buy some other device. Though the performance, stability and security of Flash Player on Android thus far has left much to be desired.

If there is a problem with a 3rd party app on that swiss cheese for security operating system that is Windows, it is the 3rd party app developer that is responsible for it.

There speaks the voice of ignorance. 15 million iPads and who knows how many iPhones/iPod Touch sold and in daily use. Regular reports that iOS is the operating system most used to connect to websites. And the usual inability to distinguish between 'the internet' and 'the web'.

So maybe the 'the internet' isn't such rubbish without flash.
