Since I updated to the most recent version of ITunes I have been unable to sync my nano. When I connect it shows that I am over capacity, yet I have 8 GB of free space. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling ITunes, I have unchecked all selections, I have removed songs yet nothing works. I am extremely frustrated with this and see no solutions from Apple. I am unable to update any of my podcasts because of this issue. This is a major problem for me as I keep up on various topics via podcasts. Please does anyone have a solution?
Thank you

    Hello tori60,
    And welcome to Apple Discussions!

Have you restored the iPod yet via iTunes?

I'm having the same trouble. The sync symbol doesn't even show anymore. Is a complete restore the only way to solve this previously nonexistent problem? It seems pretty inconvenient.

I have tried to restore it but failed, iTunes only keeping running and no response.  Finally iPod nano cannot be restored.

Pls help to solve this problem urgently.
