All videos showing black screen with ONLY audio. Pls Help!

Hi everyone,

I am hoping someone can help me with my current problem. I have a 64gb Ipad (WiFi + 3G).
All videos that I try playing, be it from the Apple website via Safari, or other browsers, show a black screen with the Quicktime logo. The audio from the videos begin playing and the progress bar of the video begins to move...but screen never displays any video.
This also occurs with the Ipad youtube app.

I am currently only using WiFi, if that helps.

Thanks in advance!

I have read that 4.2b (beta) had this problem.

I have the same exact problem for a couples days, it doesn't matter if is over WIFI or 3G.
Can't play any video on YouTube app, iPod app, video app, photo app, safari app or any third party browser app. It only shows the 1st frame or a black screen while audio still progress.

Tried the soft and hard reset many times with no avail.

Probably while updating some app, it has corrupt some preferences setting because prior that, all the video were working fine. It is like all the video has being redefined as an audio only.

Still on 3.2.
Didn't upgrade to ios4 because I don't need multitasking.

A system Reset cures many ills and takes but a minute to perform:
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.

A Reset does NOT delete apps, photos, movies, music or any other data. A Reset does NOT delete any settings for email, network access, etc.

Also, you might wish to download the 4.2 User Guide. Pay special attention to page 170.
