HI I have this problem when I video tape on my iPhone 5s , and watch the video the volume is very low
I reset settings already but still problem
Mic is working fine because when I send a voice note via WhatsApp it's normal not low
But video taping low mic please any help
My mic is working fine in all app and phone calls and anything
Except when I video tape very low volume
Thanks iinami your answer solved my sound problem 🙂
I used a very fine pin to clean it out
I had a similar issue with my voice memos. I applied a reset all using settings app which fixed the problem as shown below:
Settings->General->Reset->Reset All Settings.
Warning: Though this will not erase data, it will erase all wifi passwords etc.
Hope this helps.
I just helped a lady with the same issue, on an iPhone 5
The phone is only a few days old, she put a new cover on it. Trouble was, she left the back film that comes with the packaging still on. She didn't notice because the new cover covered it up.
We peeled the clear plastic sheet off and voila! sound on video. See if you have removed all the packaging from the phone.
The movie microphone is probably at the back of the phone in the direction of the action one is trying to capture, separate from telephone microphone.
I hope that helps someone.
