Allow only certain calls through at night?

Is there a way to allow only certain calls to come through after a certain time at night?

After 9 pm, I want the phone to ring only if the call comes from certain numbers, like certain folks in my family.

Can you do this with the iphone?

Thanks.

I don't believe so.

I decided to go a slightly different direction to control after hours calls...

I set up a Google voice account linked to my cell # and give that to people I want to be able to reach me, but not 24x7. I then set a schedule for it so it will only ring during the hours I want it to. Family and friends get the real #.

It works well for me, and with the free Google Voice app or any of several paid 3rd party apps, you can very easily place calls from your google voice # and get SMS and voice mail as well.

If you have A list calling on AT&T you can set your GV # to display the GV phone # on the caller ID instead of the actually caller # and add the GV # to your a-list. Cuts down on using plan minutes for work related calls. Not really a problem for me, but may be useful for some. I think I'm up to somewhere around 10,000 rollover minutes now. LOL

Once you have it set up, it's pretty simple.

I use GV Connect (paid from the app store). I find the free Google Voice app is a little simplistic. GVC allows control of do not disturb, etc.

One of the big bonuses is you can set multiple phones to ring when you get a call. Work, Cell, Home, etc. and have separate schedules for what rings when. You can even transfer calls between phones if you want. It's supposed to be able to record calls as well, but I've never messed with that.
