Data from external source

Is it possible in Numbers to link a spreadsheet to an external data source? Right now, I am copying and pasting data from a Google Docs spreadsheet onto a table in Numbers.

Only by using an AppleScript to fetch the data from the external source.

Yvan Koenig has written several scripts to do this. I don't recall if any of them referenced a Google Docs spreadsheet, though.

A search of this forum over the past year may turn up some leads.

Or Yvan may be along later with a response.

I had a quick look and will not have more.

(1) I refuse to give my mail.address to Google which prove to be far from respectful of confidentiality.

(2) Seen from France, their spreadsheet is absolutely ridiculous :

it use English functions names
it use the decimal period
it use the semicolon as parameters delimiters

So, I will not be helpful in this area.

You can go to my idisk

Look in the folder :

For_iWork:iWork '09:for_Numbers09:

which contain a lot of scripts.

For the asked problem, it may be helpful to look at :
For_iWork:iWork '09:for Numbers09:insert_Currenciesrates.zip
and
For_iWork:iWork '09:for Numbers09:insertquotes.zip
