Part of a compilation

Question

Part of a compilation

Is there anyway to mark more than one track at a time as 'part of a compilation'

The way I have to do it at the moment, is by going into each individual track & marking it. It would be very useful if you could select all the tracks of that compilation & mark them all.

If anyone knows how to do this, then could you please share with me on how to do it?

You can select a range of files by clicking the first one then, holding down shift, click on the last one. You can also add or remove individual files using (i think) cmd-click (it might be option, I rarely touch a Mac), and with a combination of the two you can even select multiple ranges. Having selected the files of interest use cmd-I to Get Info. and set any common properties.

Yes, I tried this. However when you select multiple files, the part of a compilation is not lisyed as an option.

Ah, I should have pointed out it is on the Options tab.

The Options tab should be one of the sections across the top of the Get Info dialog box. Compilation is on the Info tab for single tracks, Options tab when multiple tracks are selected.
