Share calendar without alarms - how?

My wife and I both have Macs and iPhones. I want to share my calendar with my wife, so she can see my appointments. I don't care whether or not she can edit them. But setting the calendar up to share with her also means that all my alarms ring on her iPhone, which drives her nuts.

Is there any way I can share my calendar with her without pestering her with my alarms? I've tried everything I can think of.
