Apple Products Return Policy in INDIA..!!!

Hi All,
What is the return policy for Apple Products purchased in India? I have searched the entire support forum but in vain.
Example: If someone buys an iPad and doesn't like the product can he/she return it and if yes within how many days???

Since Apple does not directly sell in India, it is up to the retailer where you purchased the item.

Apple is very evasive on this. The company has appointed resellers in various parts of India but nobody will take back the product. They do not have a "look see" period.
Even the contact button on the link provided by you is not giving the answer to this question.

Apple does not exactly have a replacement policy unless your product has defects.. that under two cases.

1. if it has a manufacturing defect, it is replaced

2. if it is out of warranty and you have some issue.. like you broke your screen or something like that... then you pay them little amount + give them product and they give u a new one..

For example.. Lets say your iPhone 3G is now not working because you dropped it or something so you pay them 10k + give your iPhone and they will get you a new piece of iPhone 3G...

Did you look at http://www.apple.co.in/store/ ? There is a contact us button on the page.

If you bought from a reseller, they set the return policy not Apple.

How is Apple evasive? They can't dictate to a reseller what the return policy will be.

But as noted 8 months ago when posted, Garfieldthekitten did not want a replacement. Just wanted to return it for a refund.
