Iphone 3G: Call forward option is not working.

I had the same issue and called AT&T and they set the call forwarding for me. It worked for forwarding from my 3Gs to my iphone 6. I'll have to call them back if I want is disabled. Disregard the automated robot that answers AT&Ts phone and just ask for a representative until you get a live person. It would be so much better quality wise and image wise for AT&T to have a live person answer their phone. Create jobs too here is the USA.

I too have this problem. I turn on the call forwarding and put my number in and when I push back the call forwarding call forwarding goes back to off. I have a 3gs and have the 5 operating system on it. I sure would appreciate any help I can get. I have tried calling AT&T and they have been no help. Tried calling Apple and they want a 29.99 incident call. Has anyone out there ever had this problem resolved.

This is almost certainly a problem with the provisioning of your account - it doesn't have call forwarding enabled. Only AT&T can solve it.

I did call att again this evening. Finally I got my call forwarding to work. He said that I got my phone in 2005 and at that time there was no call forwarding. So it was turned off, and when they turned it on it instantly worked.
