Previously Purchased Movies, Can They Be Re-Downloaded?

I had a small collection of downloaded itunes movies that was stored on an external hard drive that died. Is there a way to re-download previously purchased movies?

iMac 27", Mac OS X (10.6.3), 2.8Ghz Intel Quad Core i7 / 8GB / 1TB

It's a "maybe". The iTunes Store isn't obligated to allow a second download, but they sometimes do. It would be wise to make a backup of your purchases in the future, though, since such accidents and failures do happen from time to time and Apple, even if they grant a second download this time, probably won't do so again.
