can't print boarderless

I have iBook G4 and Epson R800 Photo printer. When I print my picture in either Photo Shop or IPhoto I select 4X6 boarderless. This setting actually has a .013 margin when you put the curser over it. I tired it anyway and it always printer with a small white boader. Then I went into the page set up mode and selected manage custom sizes. I created my own 4X6 boarderless with zero margins and it still prints with a white boarder. This was done in photo shop. I am told the previous version 9.0 vs Mac OS X 10.4.2 is where the problem is. A friend of mine has 9.0 and can print fine with Epson. The newer 10.0 we are having no luck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
