My IPod's camera won't work at all! Everytime I press the camera app the lens doesn't open... Anyone help me!?

    You could try the following (recommended by Apple in iPod touch: Hardware troubleshooting):

    +Try turning iPod touch (4th generation) off and then back on. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on top of the device for a few seconds until a red slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.+

    If that doesn't work you could try resetting your iPod (Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time until the Apple logo appears - about 10 seconds)

    I had (have) that problem. For me, it appears that it is temperature related. When cold, it is slow for the shutter to open or it never does. Once it's open, it works fine. I'm in Florida and didn't notice the problem until up north. The camera is supposed to work down to 32 deg F. I'll check it out more at home cooling it down to see if that makes it fail.

    I Have the same problem. The front lens probably broke. I you get an app that has something like filters, you can use the camera that functions.
