Hack Center, Game Center, Game Center Leaderboards
I would like to know what Apple is going to do about people hacking Game Center and posting whatever score they want to. I have contacted a few deplores and they all ay the same thing that Apple dose not let them have access to the online leaderboards. It is not fair for honest people who do not cheat! Microsoft would never let this fly on XBOX Live they are constantly monitoring people, taking away their achievements, and suspending their accounts. Just look at what Sony is going to do to people they catch hacking the PS3 they said they will ban them for life.
Yeah, I'm waiting too. I hate it when there's a high score like 2,147,663,847 and every other score is like only 1 million in some apps, like Cut The Rope , the first box.

Yes, let us take Fruit Ninja for example there is a player who’s name is zDoc and his score for all modes is exactly the same 9,223,372,036,854,775,807 this is clearly a cheater and somebody should be able to do something about this.
I think Apple is obliged towards the makers and buyers of games. I quitted Angry Birds and Cut the Rope, symply because scoring is no fun anymore. I think it should not be difficult to ban hackers for live. Names that are on top of a score list with surreal scores or names that only are being found on top of the game but not in the individual "worlds" should be banned. Softwarewise this is easy. And for Apple: today you will find them in the Game Center and tomorrow.... Good Night Apple.
Yes apple, if you do not fix, this will be the most epic fail of ever! Player play for fun with a sane conpetitive spirit, broken by some hack! Please clean leaderbords, intensify control, say something to us please!
Frist I would like to thank everyone for responding, onezeroight 58.5 billion years yeah your right that is pretty impressive, fishcomputer you should really look at things before you put it out there because if you did you would have seen that the number you put and I put are the same, now granted the number 1 and number 2 spot NOW HAVE the same score of 9,223,372,036,854,775,807 that is zDoc and someone new by the name of clem212
I looked and discovered that zDoc has the same exact score in other games like Doodle Jump, Angry Birds, and Angry Birds Seasons. In addition, clem212 has a modest score of 2,000,000 in other game like Flight Control, and Monster Dash.
This is a clear slap in the face to everyone and yet Apple you do nothing about it. If you cannot or will not then let the publishers, have some control.
FYI, the value of 9,223,372,036,854,775,807 is the largest single value of the BIGINT variable in an SQL database table—it is equal to (2^23)-1. This is likely the maximum value that
any score, in
any game, could have and still be compatible with Game Center.
So clearly, the hackers have managed to edit their backed-up game data on their hard drive, or via a jailbroken iPhone, iPod, or iPad—likely with some form of hex editor—then had Game Center submit the now-hacked score up to the servers. I wouldn't be surprised if someone managed to extract the file from the iTunes backup of their device, edited the key bits, re-integrated the backed-up data, then performed a Restore to their device of said backup.
It's an exploit, period. Presumably, Apple could correct it at some point by requiring the score submission to be signed in some way—but whether they think it important enough to address, is another story entirely.
