Espire or delete old mail - automatically

How to expire or delete old mail automatically? For example, I have a mailbox "Commercial" that holds wanted advertising; after one month, I want to automatically delete the mail (that is, I only want to keep mail younger than one month). My old Linux mail (kmail) had a mailbox feature called "expire", where I could set such a date -- it worked great. How do I do this on my Mac?

Thanks! - Andy

Hi Andy,

You have to go into Mail preferences and create a 'Rule" like so:

User uploaded file

It works brilliantly!

Hope that helps😀
