PB 12" and battery models

My generous father-in-law sent me a Christms gift -- a second battery for my 12" powerbook. He heard me saying it'd be nice to have a backup when I'm traveling -- he's a good guy like that.

Anyway, the new battery is a third-party model, made for the 12". It looks almost 100% identical to the original battery, but the model number is different. The original Apple battery is A1079 -- this new one says "replaces Apple part #A1022."

My question -- can I use this new battery with my PB 12" G4 1.5ghz? What is the difference between these two models?

TIA,

Several batteries were manufactured to fit the 12" PB ranging from 4000 to 4800 mAh. Basically, some have more power than others. Some models are specific to geographic regions. Note the following compatibility list for a battery sold in the UK.

Replacement battery for APPLE A1022, A1079, M8984, M8984G, M8984GA, M8984G/A, M9324, M9324G, M9324GA, M9324G/A, M9324J/A, M9572G/A, M9572J/A

I'm in USA and mine came with the A1060 but also accepts the A1022.
