Deleting recurring events in iCal do not Delete on iPhone

I am having problems trying to sync my iCal, google calendar and iPhone. I synch my iPhone using Exchange. When I edit a recurring event (ie. delete one date only) only my iCal and google calendar are in synch. The event does not delete on my iPhone.

Does anyone know what I need to do to delete the events off my iPhone without manually deleting each event off my phone?

I have been having the same problem. I have my iCal synced with Google Calendar and that is then synced with my iPhone through Exchange. The problem only occurs when deleting recurring events in either iCal or Google Calendar. Creating events works fine and syncs between all devices. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having the same problem keeping deleted events in sync with my iPhone. Here are the steps to reproduce the problem:

In iCal create an event that repeats daily for 5 days (for example Monday - Friday).

- If you delete the Tuesday event on iCal, the event deletes on www.google.com/calendar/ but NOT on the iPhone
- If you delete the Tuesday event on www.google.com/calendar/, the event deletes on iCal but NOT on the iPhone
- If you delete the Tuesday event on the iPhone, the event deletes on iCal AND on www.google.com/calendar/

I have noticed if I delete the first event on iCal (Monday's event in the instance) all events delete from the iPhone and www.google.com/calendar/

So I'm with the original poster no knowing why the event deletion doesn't sync.
