email alert popup shows old email address

email alert popup shows old email address

When I try to email an alert to myself, the popup only shows an old email address. My address book card is set to "me" and has my correct email. I don't know how to get rid of the old one.

imac/intel, Mac OS X (10.6.2)

Nancy,

Go to Mail>Window>Previous Recipients>Click on unwanted address, and choose "Remove From List."

My name with that email address is not on the list of previous recipients.

Next, delete, recreate, and redesignate your "Me" card.

I have the same issue... an old work address keeps popping up and I want.. no NEED to delete it from the iCal list. I tried both solutions suggested... deleted the previous recipients in Mail, and deleted/recreated a Vcard for myself with the new email addresses.

iCal still comes up with the old work email address... 😟 This should be easy to do, but it isn't.
