Deleting a corrupt pref file

I have recently used Onyx to scan my system and it came up with a corrupt system login file. The file was locked so with caution I didn't delete it. Is this OK to delete so that my system will regenerate another when started again?

My Macbook is a clean installation; I haven't reloaded any apps yet. In any case as com.apple.SystemLoginItems.plist it's plainly not third party.

I don't have such a file on my not-so-clean installation, in either /Library/Preferences/ or ~/Library/Preferences/, so it's not necessarily a part of a clean installation, unless there's something hardware-dependent going on. I certainly haven't deleted it.

It's hard to argue with the "com.apple" part of the file name, though. Definitely not third-party.
